Mi piace presentare l'iniziativa che si svolgerà questa sera al Castello di Marineo (PA) con le stesse parole di Antonina Li Castri, una giovane marinese emigrata negli USA, che, fin dalla prima edizione, partecipa al Simposio con versi scritti nell'antico dialetto marinese :
Every year below La Rocca. The Rock which overlooks Marineo the town where I was born in the courtyard of Castello Beccadelli, the Beccadelli Castle The Simposium of Marinesi Poets is held, live music accompanies the various poets who recite their poems, for those like me who are not present Kiara LoFaso the local actress and poet gives voice to our poems, I am honored to have been a participating poet since its inception, this is the VI one, Biscotti di San Martino, St. Martin's biscuits are served, hard fennel cookies to be dipped in wine, and Marineo applauds its' poets from near and far.
